Great pub food near Newington Green

Does anyone know of any pubs in the Newington Green/Stoke Newington vicinity that sell great pub food (lunchtimes) and serve good real ale?

Definitely the Rose & Crown on the corner of Albion Road and Church Street in Stoke Newington. It is under new management and has a choice of tapas dishes or more substantial stuff. I've only had the tapas (so far), but it was very nice. It also has good beer and is a nice enough pub in itself.

When did the new management come in? I was there for a drink a couple months ago and it was bog standard lager and Coldplay far too loud
