Is it possible to find a kosher version? I need it for a recipe. Thanks!

Depending on how much you need, it's also available in a smaller bottle, sold in most places that have a decent selection of kosher items.

I live in PA. We must buy our liquor at "Wine and Sprit Shoppe(s)" formerly known as "State Stores" Thanks for trying!

I lived in Philly for four years, I'm familiar! I used to go to Cherry Hill to the ShopRight kosher experience, which had lots of stuff.

Ahh but they still don't sell wine in the food stores. :( NJ does have many discount liquor stores though. Plus they pump gas for you and charge less than we pay here in PA! Yeah, as bad as some make NJ out to be, it does have a few good points!

The problem with Marsala is that there is always some left over. This is true even if you drink a small glass to go with the chicken you cooked with Marsala. Rather than let the remainder of the bottle go to waste, I make a reduction with onions and freeze it. I don't think the reduction (probably because of the time spent in the freezer) is as good as the sauce made when it is fresh.

Couldn't you put the leftover Marsala in a container and keep it in the freezer until you need it for more cooking?
                Thanks, p.j.
