  1. One of my favorite coleslaws is from Blue Ribbon BBQ. I think they put a little horseradish in there...their beans are great too, so one stop shopping!

Although I get there rarely, I have to enthusiastically second the BR coleslaw and pickles... always get an extra side order of the pickles, and there are never enough. The beans, on the other hand, weren't great and the cornbread is only fair.

I still like the pickles at BR, but they aren't as good as they used to be - kind of generic pickle flavor now - used to have some interesting spices in there. You can visibly tell that they have changed too, since you no longer find bits of onion or cloves in the brine anymore.

              Aww man...disappointing.
              I haven't been in a couple years.

      2. My favorite is from Burke's Seafood on Billings Rd. in N. Quincy. It pairs well with fried seafood. Go figure! It reminds me of the slaw we used to get at "7E's" and "Morey Pearl's" on the Southern Artery in Quincy. Is anyone else that old? Yikes!

        1. Formaggio's on Huron Street in Cambridge has a BBQ table outside on saturdays with really good BBQ beans. I haven;t had the coleslaw so I can;t attest but it looks good.
