Mobile Pho truck?

What's the chowhound word on the Mobile Pho truck? Millbrae to AT&T Park to the Financial District and over to San Jose State and Concord. From the photo of the truck's signage, it's probably not Vietnamese, and it mentions a homebase at Montogomery and Kearney, which are parallel streets. Is this for real?

I would very much like to get a hold of WhatThePho so that I can ask them to participate in an upcoming street food festival. Do you have any contact information for them?

Hedy, good chance this truck is as fake as Britney Spears death on twitter. A lot of things don't add up, as noted above, and there've been no updates for more than a month.

No authority, just a healthy dose of skepticism.

I just discovered this guy too! He seems to keep a low profile or just doesn't serve as often as the other carts.

Did you know seoulonwheels is thinking of making a comeback? http://twitter.com/seoulonwheels

Seoul on Wheels actually had a license to vend. Maybe twitter will make it easier for customers to find 'em, which was a problem, as well as the food being less than amazing.

Pls do let us know if you hook up with either one.

I wish there was a bigger picture, because I can't tell what that writing is. But thanks for the link, Melanie. They need to update more, though. I hope I can catch them if they're ever in the 925 area.

The writing is in Thai. I kind of doubt that's a picture of the actual truck - it looks like a Thai songthaew (pickup truck used as a communal taxi).

The background umbrellas and vendor scene doesn't look like anything around here that I can think of. You're probably right.

I was able to enlarge the picture in my browser using the Zoom In.
