Smoked Pork Hocks

I'm looking to find some extra large, meaty smoked pork hocks to use in a dish I want to make this weekend. The ones I always find in the local grocery stores are pretty small and they're usually lacking in the meat department. I want huge ones. Any ideas?

I live west of town, but I have a car, and I will travel.

I would call John Dewars (Newton or Wellesley). If they don't have them they can order them. Do ask the price though, if you care. I have been a bit shocked by the cost of special orders when I neglected to ask up front. I have also seen huge gorgeous ones at Karls' Sausage Kitchen on Route 1 in Saugus but not always so definitely call ahead if you want to go that route. In either case there will be loads of other tempations beyond the ham hocks!

My memory isn't always good, but i'm thinking Karl's Saussage Kitchen on Rte1 north Saugus may have pork hocks.

I've bought one there. Not smoked in-house though, from someplace in Jersey I think. Huge.

Meatland on Centre Street (across from Stop and Shop) in Jamaica Plain - always large and very meaty.
