Ocean view breakfast spot in N San Diego Co

Any suggestions for a breakfast spot with ocean view, and/or patio, in N SD County, say between Oceanside and Del Mar?

Good reminder re: L'Auberge in Del Mar. I haven't had breakfast at Kitchen 1540 (maybe I should) but I have had dinner there and both times I was not disappointed. Even without a view of the beach, I couldn't help but check out the breakfast menu... here it is:

the Grill, Lodge at Torrey Pines: view of the ocean, greens and putting green. More pastoral, than beachy-- but incredibly beautiful. Dine inside or out. Amusing parade of golfers at times. [OOOPS just reread post. The Grill is a bit south of Del Mar. . . but I'll leave it since it's often overlooked. Very casual.)

        Thanks all...
re Ki's in Cardiff.... Know its casual/relaxed (that's good), Is it a table-service kind of place? or place order and grab a table?

Pacifica Breeze Cafe has a good balance of food and view, although the view is over the top of L'Auberge and several other buildings between it and the beach.

Americana in Del Mar, kitty corner from Pacifica Breeze Cafe has outdoor patio dining and a few have a side view of the ocean.

Ki's in Cardiff overlooks the beach, across Hwy 101. Decent food and prices, given that "ocean view" and "good food" don't always equate.

The Naked Cafe in Solana Beach has great breakfasts and is close to the beach. However, we sat towards the back of the place and I can't remember if you can see the beach/ocean from the tables on the opposite side of the room.

Skip The Beach House in Cardiff. Feh, feh, feh.

The Cohen restaurant in Oceanside is named 333 and just recently expanded their hours to include lunch service (no breakfast or brunch items). I'm pretty sure Jakes does not serve breakfast items either (may no longer even be open for lunch).

              You're right, no b'fast, only brunch: http://www.jakesdelmar.com/docs/BRUNC...

Pacifica Breeze in Del Mar is pleasant, especially on weekdays. I do like the eggs benedict which is not traditional because of the use of biscuits instead of english muffins and the sauce is tangy. They also make a tasty huevos rancheros using black beans. Pancakes are only served on the weekend. Dog-friendly patio.

                There's Ruby's on the O'side pier.

I'm not sure if they serve breakfast or even of the name except that it either is numbers or has numbers in the name, but didn't the cohen open a new restaraunt in Oceanside? I know thier restaraunts aren't generally considered to be high cuisine, but considering the lack of restaraunts in the area, it might be a good choice.

Ruby's offers a b'fast menu: http://www.rubys.com/1-menu/breakfast.aspx. Not high end, but it's right over the water & serves a solid b'fast. Not sure about Cohen.

Jake's Del Mar is by the water, but I've never been so can't attest to the food: http://www.jakesdelmar.com/
