American stuff - moved from Ontario board

My friend is travelling to Buffalo tomorrow and asked me if I wanted anything. I'm drawing a blank, any suggestions? Of particular interest might be candy/chocolate that we can't get here. Nothing too hard to find, let's say something one can find in a 7-11 or someplace similar. Any ideas?

If your friend is going to visit the Galleria Mall, there's a kitchen/food shop on the main level (sorry, can't remember the name) that has a very wide selection of hot sauces. A sampler of those might be interesting.

Reese's Nutrageous bars...can't for the life of me figure out why they don't make those here. And I have a recipe for making cheesecake with them...sinful.
Oh and if he has a cooler, how about all those Ben & Jerry's flavors we can't get here? I clean the Tops out of Cinnamon Buns every time I go.

I'm a fan of the honey roasted peanut butter by Skippy and grits in general (not candy or chocolate but still yummy)

Fruit Stripe gum...I think I recall the commercials with a giraffe from my childhood, watching cartoons and B horror movies on the old channel 29. Sadly, since free trade, a trip to a U.S. 7-11 or grocery store isn't as exotic as it once was. Thanks for your recs Phoenikia!

You're welcome. I can't resist trying a junkfood I've never seen before, especially junkfood with crazy names.

On a slightly healthier/savoury note, I like David's sunflower seeds.

If your friend ventures into a grocery store, he/she could pick you up some Easy Cheese (cheese in can), and/or Cookie Crisp cereal, too!

Junk cereal! I hadn't thought of that. Do you know if Boo Berry is still available in western New York?

Can't speak specifically for Western New York, but most places I know of only get it around Halloween.
