barbecued oysters?

hi all -

i have a craving for barbecued oysters...but i can't seem to find a place that serves them.

anyone have any good recs?

Try the wood roasted oysters at Beacon in midtown. The oysters are just warmed through in the wood burning oven, and has a touch of smokiness. I've had some really good oysters as well as some mediocre ones there, but when they're good, it's very good.

I've never noticed them on a NY Menu. Are you from Northern California? I've had them at Stinson Beach.

i'm not from CA, but i had them last year in point reyes. now that the weather is nicer, i'm itching for them and was hoping to find a place that serves them in ny.
