If like me you usually break up your trips to Ikea or the Fuller Craft Museum with a bite at the Ikea cafeteria but are looking for someplace new, you might like to know about "Pho So 1 Boston", conveniently off Route 24 in Randolph. (If you live in that area you probably already know about it) Stopped by for lunch with three friends yesterday and enjoyed fried egg rolls, spring rolls, canh chua ga (chicken tomato pineapple) and bun mang vit (duck leg and bamboo shoots). Pho comes in four sizes--X Large, Large, Small and Children; we ordered Small but had plenty left over for supper, and at $14 with tip each we were very happy.

  1. I love Pho So 1 in Randolph. Used to go there a lot, but haven't lately--thanks for reminding me about this place.

    1. "Off Rt. 24" is a pretty vague description ... is it on Rt 139?

Could be a good option before or after BJ's.

It's kind of behind Route 139 in a shopping center near the center of town (across the street, more or less, from Cafe Bella).

I dont know Randolph that well ... but I take it that it's down 139 from BJ's and Rt 24?

          Thanks!

It's next to the Shaw's Supermarket plaza that is next to McDonald's.

Yes, you go east on 139 off of 24, if you're heading north back towards Boston, and turn right where 28 joins 139, and it's the second right, into a strip mall. Yes, I saw a BJ's and and Ocean State Job Lot.

        3. Yeah, I like that Pho So 1 a lot. I've tried various soups and appetizers from the menu as well as the iced coffee; everything has been good.
