MILWAUKEE -- kosher restaurant

Does anyone know of good kosher restaurants in the Milwaukee area? Someone mentioned Kosher Klub to me as a market but i dont know if/what they offer in a pinch. Input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much. I had completely forgotten about that web site and it did list a few places.

I just came back from Milwaukee and the only kosher restaurant is Cafe Osher - http://cafeosher.com/ - it is north of Milwaukee, about 15-20 minute drive from down town.

I enjoyed it both the service and food- I had the Pastrami Burger and the Skirt Steak and on a previous trip had the brisket sandwich. Overall I enjoyed my entrees the skirt steak was a bit small but still very good. The cole slaw is nice and creamy - the only issue I have is the sides that are in the case are not fresh- they are microwaved - but can be tasty even nuked. Word of warning I am not a nutmeg fan their sweet potato coins look good but are heavy on the nutmeg. I will definitely return.

Thank you very much for the info about osher...i had seen their site and intend to try it on this trip....there is also a place in town, Kosher Klub, that seems to be a grocery and kosher butcher which i understand also ships meat to the general Chicago area by greyhound once a week,,, but i have not yet checked to see if they perhaps serve sandwiches for a quick lunch and then try osher for dinner.

As it turns out my son was the one who made the trip. He told me he was quite pleased with the food from Cafe Osher and said the people working there were also very pleasant. He did get to Kosher Klub but it was just as they were closing. Told me the people didnt rush him to order the meat he wanted to purchase, were very pleasant, but the neighborhood wasnt the greatest. He has not had a chance to try the different meats he purchased yet, said the prices were very good and i will have to let you know how they cook up..

Why would they ship meat to Chicago?
I alos remember that when iwas younger they had sandwiches at the kosher meat club that where pretty solid.
f.y.i. Chicago is only an hours drive from milwauke and has a a veritable pantheon of kosher establishments, including speritus cafe in downtown run by Wolfgang Puck.

Depending where in Milwaukee Spertus could be 2 hours away - the closest Chicago Kosher Options are in Highland Park/Northbrook - particularly Mizrahi Grill and then about 5 miles further south just off of I-94 is the second location for Taboun Grill off of Dempster

Wolfgang Puck runs Spertus Cafe like Mayor McCheese runs McDonalds.
