Lunch with a 17-year old in DC

I'm taking my 17 year old niece to DC for a day of museum-going. Where should we go for lunch? She is a suburban kid who has been to DC many times, but usually lunches at the Smithsonian. I'd like to take her somewhere with a hip and modern feel with more locals than tourists. Budget is not an issue.

Or a quick metro transfer to Gallery Place will offer many good options.
Sushi-Go-Rounds, Zengo Asian Fusion, Matchbox... the options are endless.

Central is great. There are many adventurous items on the menu, but also just burgers as well.

Central is hip, modern and delicious---plus it's near the museum's so you won't have to travel too far. Other options might be Zaytinya, Jaleo, or Cafe Atlantico.

i bet she would feel cooler than school at zola! it's very sleek and the food is great. definitely modern and hip.
