Once the warm weather decides to stay, I know I'll want to start enjoying my meals outside. So what is your all time favorite dinner spot for al fresco dining? My requirements - good food and outdoor seating, preferably not expensive. Thanks.

Any specific cuisine??
I like:
Markt
Marseille (damn, they make a KILLER burger!)
Bowery Bar & Grill (I understand that the food isn't worthy of writing home about, but I just adore the amazing outdoor space)
good
Almond
La Lanterna Caffe

Thanks for the suggestiosn so far. No cuisines in particular, but prefer a casual setting. And good for sharing is always a plus :)

Thanks to RGR, I went to Marseille for the first time this past weekend. The restaurant is lovely and the al-fresco dining cannot be beat. Plus, I'm convinced that they have one of the city's TOP 3 burgers.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Marseille, Leah. We haven't been recently, so it's especially good to know that it hasn't slipped. I really do like the very attractive interior space, but I never sit outside because I don't like sidewalk seating.

Actually I think Mercadito Grove in the West Village is nice - outdoor seating (lots of restaurants around there have it) and the tacos and guac are perfect for sharing. Another choice in the West Village is Bar Pitt.
