Mangosteen Salad in Sao Nam Kuala Lumpur

This award winning fruit salad is so refreshing. It has not a drop of oil but just calamansi, just nice for the hot weather.

Any idea what else is good at Sao Nam aside from the fantastic mangosteen salad? Thought the pho wasn't much to shout about.

We thought the lotus root salad was delicious and actually liked it even better than the mangosteen salad. The texture of the lotus root was excellent, the root absorbed the dressing very well, and the mint in the salad gave it a nice green taste.

Ooh, it's mangosteen season right now. Pity I'm not in KL, I've heard so much about Sao Nam's mangosteen salad!
