City Grill Closed

Tried to go for brunch today but City Grill was gone.
Anyone know when it happened? or why?

That's too bad. Sure, it was mediocre, but so's everything in the mall. I sure hope that patio space doesn't go to waste.

I can deal with mediocre when its priced accordingly. Unfortunately, City Grill was not.

Agreed about the patio space though. Very nice spot.

I pay extra for good patio near shopping, yeah.

I agree with Googs. Good patio near shoppping was the draw. If your ordered carefully there were a few less than mediocre things on the menu, but it was a bit pricey.
          Still I'll miss the location.

Their sister restaurant, the Summit at Y&E, also had a fantastic patio (best in the area, by far). Now it's closed and (after a brief incarnation as the Midtown) it's a Boston Pizza. Sniff... Not sure that I can bring myself to go to a Boston Pizza, even for a great patio.

Perhaps another sign of the times!

I'm not that surprised. I found it to be quite overpriced for the quality of the food.
