Chinese restaurant : south shore of Montreal ?

I am looking for a good chinese/szechuan restaurant (non-buffet) in the south shore of Montreal (Brossard, Boucherville, Longueuil...)... We used to eat at Pavillon Lilas at the Quality Inn in Brossard, but it is closed since January. Please help me out... I have an urge for dumplings, general tao, sesame beef, orange duck... mmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it !

  1. I've been told by very reputable people that at the Kim Phat in Brossard there is a great dim sum restaurant. as for the name i do not know. hope this helps

    1. I'm afraid there's not a lot of love on this board for this type of Hong Kong/Cantonese interpretation of Szechuan cuisine. That's a shame because I love a good orange beef or General Tao. Your best bet would be to check out the more prominent Cantonese places down there.

      1. sad to hear pavillion lilas has closed down, i remember having good meals over there when i was still living on the south shore.

        Rouge at Quartier Dix30 does fit the bill in terms of menu offerings (pretty much everything you mentionned is offered there) and the quality is good, definitly not authentic chinese, but a good replacement for pavillion lilas

        1. i like Jardin du sud alot, it's one of those restaurant you go if you run out of ideas. I like their sizzling plan chow mien. It's in front of Foo Wor

          1. Jing Hua has fantastic Dim Sum as well as does a wonderful Peking duck meal.
            +++ Highly recommended!
