Baltimore family party in July (I'm from out of town) need catering company in/near Baltimore that will supply Maryland crab boil (crabs, salads), deliver and serve for 20-30 people. Including tables, chairs and cleanup.

Online I find Bo Brooks Catering and Crab Catering. Recommend either of these or another company?

Also need great birthday cake, happy for all ages, no evil chemical frosting.

We don't do crab boils here, just an FYI. The crabs are steamed and we call it a crab feast.

And we don't eat them with salad. :) Corn on the cob is the ideal side dish for steamed crabs.

It's going to be better to have an area prepped for meal and bring crabs from a crab steaming place as carryout while still hot.

as Hon says, we don't boil crabs here! "in/near Baltimore" covers a lot of territory, how about a neighborhood?

We've been to things that Shoreline has catered, always had good crabs.

For cakes, try Cakes Plus in Laurel (www.cakesplus.com) or Sugar Bakers in Catonsville (www.sugarbakerscakes.com) for great cake and real icing. Catonsville is closer to B'more than Laurel, but they both have great cakes.
