Mystic area lunch recs

TonyO May 17, 2009 06:31 AM

We will be in Mystic the weekend of June 12 for a conference. The dinners are set for both nights but there will be some free time for lunch. Cuisine type is not important but quality is ! We are stying at the Hilton near the aquarium so being within walking distance is a plus. Thanks in advance !

Whatever you do...do NOT let anyone convince you to go to The Steak Loft....horrific food that only survives due to location!!

They sucked 15 years ago when they had a place in Branford too....I would have hoped that they got better over the years, but it doesn't sound that way.

There is not much in walking distance. Azu in downtown Mystic is very good.

You must be referring to Pizzetta (www.pizzettamystic.com ) Last I heard, they're only open for dinner, but I thought the pizza selection was good, and I think they have wine flights, which is fun.

Five Guys is great if you want burgers! I'd go there anytime.

Go Fish is a very pretty restaurant! It is right by the aquarium. I have heard good things about it.
