Dinner Ideas- 1st Anniversary

My friend is celebrating her first wedding anniversary this weekend, and is looking for someplace special to go to. They would like to go somewhere that has a good wine list, and as far as cuisine the only specification was that it's not sushi.

They would prefer that the area be in or around West Hollywood, Hollywood, Silverlake, or East Valley.

I appreciate any ideas you can offer.

You don't mention budget but my pick would be Ortolon. It's so romantic & special (I celebrated my 3 year anniversay there).

The Little Door is very romantic, and if they want to spend a bit less, I think the patio at Ameci is very romantic, with little twinkly lights everywhere.

Craft feels very celebratory to me. We went for my husband's birthday.

If it were MY anniversary, I would choose The Little Door. Very romantic. Lovely place, outstanding wine selection. It's on 3rd Street (I think between Fairfax and La Brea).
