Spanish/Latino on Mass Ave?

I think there's a restaurant on Mass Ave Boston near BMC that serves Spanish/Latino food - called something like Marengue(z)? - has anyone heard of it or been there? Someone at work got takeout from there and it smelled fantastic - tostones, rice, meat in sauce...
