Avec/Frontera Grill wait question

If going to either place this Saturday, what time should we get there to avoid a wait?
5? 5:30? 6?

5:30 is generally pretty safe for Avec on a Saturday.

How about Sunday or Monday night? Late is fine too.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing Sunday and Monday nights are both generally light, that you can get to Avec just about any time and not have a lengthy wait. You can double-check by calling Avec and asking; their people can give you a straight answer about what's likely (although obviously they can't guarantee anything).

Frontera Grill is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so that's not even an option for those nights. Also, although Frontera Grill leaves most of the dining room available for walk-in traffic, they also accept a limited number of reservations, so you might try calling to see if you can snag one of those. Otherwise, for a Saturday, they open at 5:00 and I would try getting there by that time.
