Visiting from SF Area - need ideas

We'll be going to Disneyland this weekend and would like some ideas for dinner places that are reasonably close to Anaheim. Food that is not as available in the Bay Area would be wonderful. We'll be with our generally well-behaved almost 5-year-old.

Also interested in KoreaTown suggestions.

  1. There's a Korean part of Garden Grove that has excellent Korean BBQ. I've been to Shik Do Rak, Light Town House (both, order by the plate) and Cham Sut Gol (AYCE). All three are quite good. Just depends on your mood.
The Storyteller's Cafe inside the Grand Californian is fun for kids. The food is now spectacular, but good and the environment for kids is fun with the characters and the moving pictures in the dining room. Napa Rose is a CH favorite, but being that you're from SF, you've probably got something like it there.

Sorry...I meant that the Storyteller's Cafe food is not spectacular, but is good.

    2. You're not too far from the Little Saigon area in Westminster. If you query "little saigon" you'll find lots of ideas. Personally, I'm a big fan of Xanh Bistro, but there are other options to consider. All would be fine with a toddler. Really good vietnamese food is available in SF (well, San Jose really), so I don't know if that's different enough for your needs.

      1. just a heads up - there is some wonderful mexican available in santa ana. you might want to search here or perhaps someone will follow up on this

        1. try korean chicken wings at Kyochan..some of the best i've had. they have location in Stanton.
