We are getting a kid reprieve this weekend and would love a recommendation for some place groovy and tasty for a late lunch or an early dinner.

Groovy and tasty... The Hungry Cat! They have brunch till 3:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd go for brunch (or lunch) instead of dinner, because the lobster roll is not on the dinner menu.

It's on Vine Street, just north of Sunset Boulevard.

I've also really been enjoying Boho, both the ambiance and the food, next to the Arclight.

I second Boho. Going there on Sunday after Angels & Demons.

I enthusiastically third Boho. I was very excited when they opened for lunch and brunch. Very good food, excellent servers, a charming atmosphere. It's my go-to place before and after movies at the Arclight.

Is there anything specific that you would recommend ordering at BoHo? I'd probably go for the bento on the lunch menu -- just let them surprise me. But what have you had there that's great?

Their burger is amazing, seriously good. I think it's the combo of cheese and thousand island dressing and the pickles that makes it so tasty. And the belgian fries is a perfect compliment.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the potato pizza last time we were there. The burger looked good and I will probably try that next time

Loteria Grill might fit the bill
