Sunday brunch near Times Square

  • 8

We'll be staying in New York this weeked. Looking for Sunday brunch near Times Square that is not touristy and don' have to wait on line for. Could be fancy, could be down and dirty, as long as it tastes good. Thanks.

  1. Tulcingo del Valle serves up a mean breakfast starting at 10am on Sunday: http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/...

    1. For a lunch menu (which we prefer) rather than breakfast foods, I highly recommend Maze, at the London Hotel, Gordon Ramsay's more casual restaurant. Superb cuisine, excellent service, and pleasing ambiance.

We also like Marseille, the attractive, bustling French/Mediterranean brasserie. The menu has a mix of breakfast and lunch dishes

      Both restaurants accept reservations.

Thank you. We have been to Marseille several times and really enjoyed. For some reason ( age related no doubt) it just slipped my mind.

      2. We also like Marseille for brunch (or dinner). Another nice option in that area is the West Bank Cafe (42nd and 9th), which serves good contemporary American cuisine in a quieter atmosphere; well-chosen selection of wines by the glass, too.

Reservations for both can be done through Opentable.

West Bank is, indeed, another fine option.

I went to their web site and got a message that is has been hacked by a Turkish hacker. Very strange.

          2. another vote for Marseille. I also like Thalia (www.restaurantthalia.com
