Help me decide!
I am to be left bereft this weekend, as my husband is off to some event I have no interest in whatsoever. In fact, in the next two months, he's going to be away a lot-Cousin's wedding, convention for his brew club, another beer thing, a work convention in Long beach, the family memorial day camping trip (I hate camping with a passion)
So, well, this weekend is one of those times. I am at a loss of what to do for my Saturday.
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and then buy some great fresh unique LA ingredients and come up with an amazing recipe
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and then find a dinner for one at some new place.
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and then go to a place that I've wanted to go to but never made it.
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and go to the strawberry festival to b packed in like a sardine for mediocre berries.
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and go to a place I like and have gone to a lot.
Go see Sexy Hugh Jackman run around naked and near naked chopping things and try the place near my new house, QCina, or Don Huarache.
I live now in NoHo, but will travel a little way. Not too far, because I want some wine or beer, or a margarita.
I don't know if getting takeout from Skaf's and plopping yourself on a couch with a movie you actually want to see and your beverage of choice from your fridge qualifies, but I think their food is pretty terrific and I wish I lived closer.

Eclectic Cafe on Lankershim. Really good food and a good neighborhood atmosphere for North Hollywood. My law office is right near there and we go there a lot for lunch. I like their pasta dishes but I am a nut for their tuna fish sandwich and some Chardonnay. If you like Thai food try Chiangsan on Colfax just south of Magnolia. Lousy wine but if you ask nicely one of the owners (Pen is her name and I am sure I am misspelling it) will let you bring her own. Just tell her I said you were a friend and could most likely bring your own.
go there..order up a storm..keeps well in the fridge better the next day....great food for a night at home...
