The Pancake Pantry in Nashville
I am going to be in Nashville this weekend and I am dying to try the Pancake Pantry. The website www.pancakepantry.com takes to one in Gatlinburg. Is this the same people/food? And for all of you in the know, it is located at the corner of Hillsboro Pike and Belcourt, correct?

Not certain, but I recall the owners of the Nashville Pancake Pantry opened the Gatlinburg location, but subsequently sold it.
Pancake Pantry is a Nashville original (actually it is at the intersection of 21st Avenue South and Belcourt in Hillsboro Village) -- it certainly every kind of pancake you can imagine. I usually go for the traditional buttermilk or the sweet potato pancakes are hard to beat (cinnamon syrup is superb).
Get there early on Saturday -- no later than 7 a.m. -- or be prepared to stand in line for up to an hour. As an aside, if there's a non-breakfast eater in your party, their cheeseburger's pretty good, too. My son isn't a pancake eater, but they've made him a cheeseburger for breakfast on several occasions.
