Hey all,

My good ole' mechanical kitchen scale just wen the way of the dodo. Anyone have any experience with decent quality, relativity inexpensive, *digital* kitchen scales found locally?

I've heard some great things about the Escali Primo scale ($32.50 at Arès, Cuisine Gourmet and Quincaillerie Dante). It is digital, goes up to 5kg and can measure in pounds, too. I haven't yet treated myself to one, but if I were to buy a scale, that would be it.
