Pre-Degustation drinks

Off to Degustation this evening for dinner and wondering if anyone had recommendations for pre-dinner drinks? I was thinking that Angel's Share looked nice but in the event I can't locate it (I understand it is quite difficult to find) I was wondering of anyone could suggest other venues. Thanks in advance

You're best bet is probably either Death and Co (6th street between 1st and A) , or Mayahuel (6th street between 1st and 2nd ave, as they have some of the best mixoogists in the city.

Though it's a bit of a walk (about six blocks), I'd also recommend getting a drink at Allen and Delancey, since all their cocktails are half off on Tuesdays.

A&D is a good choice, but every time I've walked past on half-off night, it's been absolutely packed inside.

another vote for Death & Co. It's quite close to degustation and has a better atmosphere and cocktail list than Angel's Share.

Elsa is worth checking out, but is a bit further from Degustation (3rd St btween Ave B and C)

Angel's Share is not really that hard to find. Go to Village Yokocho, 8 Stuyvesant St. Go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, you'll be in the restaurant. Turn to your left. Open the closed door. That's Angel's Share.

Also in that general area: Mayahuel, Death & Co.
