Hi all,
I'm looking for a place I can buy Tamarind paste in midtown. Anyone know of a store that sells it or an indian grocery store?
Thanks

If you're farther uptown, there's Sukhadia's on 45th St: http://www.sukhadia.com/ny_main.asp?sid=

Please note that Sukhadia's is a restaurant, not a grocery store.
Tamarind paste is used in portions of Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, so you may be able to find it in the Asian aisle at Whole Foods if you are looking for some place further into midtown than Curry Hill.

Please note that Sukhadia ALSO has retail, in addition to a restaurant.
