  1. Where are you staying? Shall we assume that you're checking into the hotel first and then out for a bite?

staying at the windsor but a friend picking us up so location of 1st stop not a problem

My first stop is always Mandina's, but I've been going there since I was 12

Plus 1 on Mandina's. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking for the same reason. Great minds think alike. : )

    2. Dragos in Metairie for chargilled oysters, crabmeat salad or Bozos, also in Metaire for THE best oyster po boy and some on 1/2 shell. Both on the way into town from MSY.

JazzyB has it right - my other rec would be Harbor Seafood and/or Bozo's. Oysters @ Harbor (raw) and fried @ Bozo's, along w/ some gumbo.

      2. My suggestion would be Parkway Bakery and Tavern for Po'Boys, then follow that up with bananas foster at Brennan's.

Parkway or Domalise's, but skip Brennan's. You'll ruin your dinner!
