My suggestion would be Parkway Bakery and Tavern for Po'Boys, then follow that up with bananas foster at Brennan's.

Dragos in Metairie for chargilled oysters, crabmeat salad or Bozos, also in Metaire for THE best oyster po boy and some on 1/2 shell. Both on the way into town from MSY.

JazzyB has it right - my other rec would be Harbor Seafood and/or Bozo's. Oysters @ Harbor (raw) and fried @ Bozo's, along w/ some gumbo.
