Lake George Dining - Still Searching

Spending this weekend in Lake George, NY. Dining at Grist Mill on Sat night, but still looking for a casual place with great food (not looking for huge portions) for Fri night. Farmhouse has a wedding rehearsal dinner ( :-( ) and Porreca's is not open for the season. Not really in the mood for Polish (Taste of Poland), and don't want to have to drive too far. Does anyone know anything about the RainTree? Any other suggestions will be most welcome.

There is almost no "great food" in Lake George. The Inn at Erlowest is as gourmet as you can get.
Most of Lake George is mediocre at best when it comes to food.

What about in nearby towns, Bolton Landing, Warrensburg, Glens Falls? Not necessarily looking for "gourmet," but good quality.

I just called and made a reservation at Bistro Tallulah. It appears to be just what I've been looking for. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll let you know how it goes. If you're ever in SE CT and need a restaurant recommendation, I'd be glad to help.

What about that Italian place in Glens Falls? Luisa's or something? I have not been but hear good things.
