Is this pork ok to eat?

I took some pork cutlets out of the freezer & put it in then in the fridge Thurs afternoon. I was planning on cooking them Friday night. I ended up not cooking at all this wknd (was not at home). Would it be ok to cook them tonight? (Monday).

  1. Pork that has gone bad will let you know. In no uncertain terms.

Since you're going to be cooking them fully, you shouldn't have a problem.

      1. Three days defrosted should be fine. Just about.

Just don't sue us if you get the shits.

        1. I have to say, just looking at that question gave me the shivers. My rule of thumb: when in doubt, throw it out. I spend enough time in the bathroom as it is.

Bit of a worry that the OP hasnt been back to tell us how it went.

Perhaps no time to make it to the computer in between trips to the toilet.

          2. Assuming that the cutlets are in the wrapping they were frozen in, and they've been refrigerated, I wouldn't even have bothered to ask the question. I cut up those bagged whole boneless loins into roasts and chops and freeze them in Ziplocs, and have put packages of these down in the fridge to thaw over a week before I used them. If the meat had been commercially packed I'd feel safe in waiting even longer; I do practice a reasonable degree of cleanliness in my kitchen, but not to the level required in an industrial setting.
