New Pizza Spot in Millwood
A new pizzeria opened in the old Europizza spot in Millwood.. It is called Tonino's. They call it wood oven pizza. The ovens look the same to me as they did when the last owner was there, only with some new decoration on the outside. However, I have ordered 3 pies and a couple of veal and chicken parm heroes from there so far and they get a thumbs up. They also deliver promptly. Lastly, the service is polite, the workers speak English as a first language, and the garlic knots are fab!

I agree the pizza is pretty much the same and I actually liked Euro's salad better BUT the food is MUCH BETTER, had chicken scarparello and it was delicious and now at least you can get pasta. It is much cleaner and better polite service than the old place.
Now if we could get a decent chinese food place close by.›5 Replies-

Apples --i agree on Tonino's...and I have ended several of my Chowhound rants with pleas for a decent Chinese food place nearby. Before I forget..was the chicken scarpariello on or off the bone. Piero's II in Kisco makes a good verson. I call down to the Oriental Diner in Hawthorne when i want to have Chinese delivered to Chappaqua. It bums me out that that is the nearest place that is just decent is in Hawthorne. Where do YOU order from? Maybe I am missing something.

re: steelydad
It is off the bone. For Delivery, Chinese I usually order from David Chens in Armonk, although I like Oriental Diner too. I heard Magic Wok in Plstvlle is good but have yet to try it. If you like Indian, Bollywood in Pleasmntville is good and for Thai, we order in from Thai Angels. Really wanting a good authentic Mexican spot in the area

re: apples
apples - have you tried azteca in mt. kisco? the atmosphere isn't much to speak of but we get take out a lot and have been overall pretty pleased...
and thanks for mentioning the food at tonino's - we have only tried the pizza so far (but been happy with it generally - better in person than delivery) but it looks like we'll need to expand our repertoire!
