Heard a rumour that Greg Gouillard (of Spice Room) has left and is not coming back. Anyone else notice/hear this?
Is he retired or is he off to explore another cuisine? His last few gigs seemed to do well, so good for him if he's taking a break. I definitely enjoyed his food over the years.
Strange. The article says he is going to Ajijic.
Ajijic is a town in the Mexican state of Jalisco which has a large number of Canadian and American retirees. It has its share of restaurants. but is hardly one of the food catitals of the world. If he opens a restaurant there , it will probably be far better, and far more expensive, than anything there now.
