Meyer Lemons: Where?

Has anyone seen Meyer Lemons for sale in Manhattan/Brooklyn? I would prefer lower Manhattan. Thanks.

Now that we have a Costco in Manhattan - I bought 20 lemons for $7.00 at a Costco in NJ today, so they might well have them at the new Costco.

i was in nj over the weekend and actually saw them at trader joes and they looked quite good

I've also seen them recently at Trader Joe's in Queens, and would assume they would have them in Manhattan as well, but they looked a bit past their prime.

I would suggest calling ahead though, if you plan on going to a market only for the lemons - I do suspect that it is too late in the year for them.

I saw them bagged in Whole Foods and loose in Fairway. In Fairway the sign called them "sweet lemons" but the sticker said "meyer lemons." I believe they were $3.89/lb in Fairway.

I've purchased them at Gourmet Garage, but I haven't seen them there for a while. Might try Garden of Eden too. But as Kathryn mentioned maybe the season is over...

I saw them at Whole Foods in Union Square and on the Bowery many times this winter, but I think the season may be over.

That is my sense as well - haven't seen them for awhile. Eli's is my "go to" place for produce that is out of season - maybe worth calling, though it's on the UES.
