Chances at Pizzaria Mozza if I drop-in alone?

What are the chances of getting to eat if I just drop-in on a weekday at Pizzaria Mozza for lunch (anytime between 11 and 3 I'd be willing to call lunch!)?
Thanks

It's been my experience that chances are good if you're willing to sit at the bar and you avoid the lunch crowd....which means being there when they first open, or arriving at 2:30 or 3.

Well your chances of dining alone if you drop-in at 11 is nil. They don't open for lunch until noon.

That said, I think on a weekday it should be no problem for a drop-in at lunch time.

It's sort of a badly kept secret that between 3-5pm weekdays you can usually drop in and get a table or a seat at the pizza bar with not much of a wait, if any. Was there recently at that time though and it was packed. Good luck!

I have stopped there at least three times (I work in Hancock Park) in the last few weeks with times ranging from 12:30 to 3:00 and I never had a problem getting either a table or seat at the bar. It may be the economy or just my good luck but unless it's Friday, I think you will get a seat especially if you go closer to noon or 3pm.

Chances are excellent. I've done it, as have many friends, and have been seated immediately at the bar where I like it the most.

Ive dropped in for dinner probably 20 times in the past year and have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes.
