  1. THAT is going to be very useful, once I figure out the best way to print it! Thanks!

Please let me know if you figure it out!

    2. Thanks!

      1. Read the article this weekend. Thanks for the map. We hope to put it to good use.

        1. My friend (and partner in crime in eating) just called me "the biggest nerd ever" for making this map. Oh well! When it comes to eating, I don't want to waste time driving around - I just want to get there and eat!

            foodie nerds rule!

          2. We've started working our way through the list and are having so much fun! So far, we've hit the ones linked below. Highlights were juicy pork dumplings at DTF, boysenberry pie at Pie 'n Burger, turkey burger and ice cream sandwiches at Umami Burger, and the fries at Wurstkuche. Yum!

            Din Tai Fung Restaurant

            Pie 'n Burger
            913 E California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91106

            Wurstkuche
            800 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

            Umami Burger
850 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036

            1. I love this map! I'm flying down to L.A. in a couple of days and it'll be very useful..

              1. I appreciate the list, but Cheap Eats? I dunno about some of them. #19 at Langer's is 15 bucks, and the stuff at Wurstkuche adds up compared to places I love on the list like Dino's and Pollo a La Brasa where you can get a full meal for $5-6. With those kinds of deals in LA, I feel like the bar for a Cheap Eats meal should be closer to $10.

I'd throw La Espanola's Saturday paella on the list.

I second La Espanola's saturday paella. We enjoyed a couple of servings last weekend. And you might as well throw in their sandwiches as well.

Thanks for the rec! I've added it to the map...

                2. awesome. I need to figure out how to program this into the gps in my car...

                  1. The map is incredible, again, thank you, but BEST cheap eats...I'm not so sure. A lot of cheap eats that are good to very good, yes.

                    1. this is so helpful, thanks!

                      1. thank god.
now you know what i'm going to be eating for the next few weeks.

                        1. There was quite a lengthy introduction in this issue about their methodology and how controversial it all is. Please let me know what you think are notable omissions and I'll add them to the map too! (I've already added a few, denoted with an asterisk to indicate that they weren't part of the original list.)

                          1. We really enjoyed Papa Cristo's

                            1. Why did you leave Cook's Tortas off? Just wondering...

Just an inadvertant omission - fixed now!

                              2. We went to Baby Blues BBQ on Saturday. We may have been biased because we were STARVING, but we loved it! The pulled pork and mac n' cheese were delicious - can't wait to have them again.

I love Baby Blues, if only they were a little closer, but it's worth the drive....

                                2. Thanks for the map! Not quite sure how Little Dom's made it onto this list as they're anything but "cheap."
