Next Tuesday nite rec for Bklyn Hgts

Coming from San Francisco and will be visiting a friend in Bklyn Hgts next week. She is new to the area. I am interested in an Italian restaurant for dinner that is under $40 per person including tax and tip. Italian-american or Regional Italian is fine.

Noodle Pudding--it's a Brooklyn Heights institution.

Bocca Lupo is a couple blocks south of Atlantic on Henry so not technically Brooklyn Heights, but is good and might be right for you.

Noodle Pudding on Henry is excellent and not expensive.

If you can do an early dinner, Queen has a prix-fixe three course meal before 6:30pm. Otherwise it might be over your budget.

I second the Noofle Pudding suggestion. If you order carefully you can have a meal and a glass of wine for under $40. FYI, they only take cash and there may be a wait, but the food is great.
