Sunday @ 44th & 8th with 3hrs. to eat

We have tickets for "Birdland" at 9:00 and must eat at 6:00. We want great food and do not want to eat a meal just for convenience. What should we do? Where should we go?
Thinking about:
Il Gattopardo
Porter House
Estiatorio Milos
Il Corso
Pdre Figlio
What do you suggest? This is our last night in New York.

Thank you!

  1. Of the ones on your list, I've been to only two: Keens and Convivio. Both are fine choices. However, you might want to consider going a bit more upscale and dining at Adour Alain Ducasse, in the St. Regis, on 55th, b/t 5th & Madison. The superb cuisine, excellent service (no hint of attitude), and wonderful ambiance would be a great end to your stay in NYC. Jackets are not required. There are several dining spaces, so be sure to request a table in the main dining room.
