Sunday @ 44th & 8th with 3hrs. to eat
We have tickets for "Birdland" at 9:00 and must eat at 6:00. We want great food and do not want to eat a meal just for convenience. What should we do? Where should we go?

Of the ones on your list, I've been to only two: Keens and Convivio. Both are fine choices. However, you might want to consider going a bit more upscale and dining at Adour Alain Ducasse, in the St. Regis, on 55th, b/t 5th & Madison. The superb cuisine, excellent service (no hint of attitude), and wonderful ambiance would be a great end to your stay in NYC. Jackets are not required. There are several dining spaces, so be sure to request a table in the main dining room.
