San Antonio transplant looking for fresh flour tortillas

Hello Board,

Just moved here from San Antonio and trying to find true Tex-Mex food. Fresh handmade flour tortillas, chorizzo and egg tacos, ect........

    Tex-Mex is not available in Florida as far as I can tell. Mexican in general is very hard to find, and it's usually adulterated with Cuban or South American influences.

      That's a bunch of hooey! MOST of the Mexican restaurants in Florida are Tex-Mex style and not traditional Mexican. There are many, many small family owned traditional Mexican places, especially near agricultural areas. They're out there, you just have to get off the beaten path to find them, they certainly won't be next to Disney or other tourist areas.
