Former Farmers Bar now Red Rooster

Well, it appears that the Farmer's Var is now a restaurant called the Red Rooster. All I know about it is what I read in the police blotter of the Suffolk Times....apparently they got busted for allowing BYO wine without a license...they didn't believe the law was enforced, although they acknowledged being aware of it....and they are waiting for their license. They also have an ad....its definitely not a barbecue place anymore...they are calling themselves a "Bistro"...featuring local ingredients and "comfort food"....Anyone been there yet?

My friend was there last Friday. He said the food was good and the portions were generous. He did not say what he ate but said they had a variety of food and it wasn't barbecue.
