Recs for Breakfast/Brunch Close to Yonge/Wellesley?

Hi All,

I am a native Torontonian but I have guests from out of town and we are staying close to Yonge/Wellesley.

I was looking for some breakfast and brunch recommendations within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance.

If you want straight-up greasy spoon breakfast in a for-real diner, try Coach House on the east side of Yonge a stone's throw north of Wellesley.

I passed by it yesterday and saw a notice that they are closed until May 11.

A third for Fire on the East Side. They have a great brunch.

2nd that FOTES recco. Never had brinch there but often go for dinner. Nice cozy space and the food has always been reliable.

There's also the Bloor Street Diner in the Manulife Centre.

Try Fire on the East Side. I havent been there in about a year or two but from what i remember, its pretty good.
