Philadelphia dinner with dad and grandfather...
I need some ideas for restaurants around Center City that are rather quiet and easily accessible. My grandfather's not in a wheelchair but he needs things like clear aisles and few stairs. And both these grumpy old men need quiet...(I love them dearly, I promise).
They can't eat spicy food and probably wouldn't like sushi. Anything else is okay, and since I love spicy food if there are options on the menu that would be okay.
They're coming next weekend...for a Friday dinner.
Thanks!!

I've been in the same boat with my mom and grandmother. My grandmother also needs places with out many stairs and clear aisles. I strongely suggest eating at 5:00 or 5:30 before the restaurants get crowded and loud. I've taken them to Lolita and Matyson early on Sat. nights and they had a good time. Bathrooms can be rough since they are sometimes down a flight of steep stairs. My grandmother's personal favorite is Vietnam since the food is healthy and inexpensive. We usually drive our car so my husband can drop every one off at the front of the restaurant.
