I just read that this exists on their secret menu. Has anyone tried Animal Style fries at In-N-Out? Also how much do they charge for a grilled cheese?

It does exist! It's the same thing they do to the animal style burger. Grilled onions, thousand island dressing, and a slice of melting cheese on top!

No idea on the grilled cheese... What kind of grilled cheese?

I've heard that the grilled cheese is a regular hamburger, without the meat. Don't know how much they charge for it though.

I order the grilled cheese...since I don't eat red meat. I think I recall it being about 50 cents cheaper.

Animal fries sound actually kinda good!

The animal style fries are pretty good, but it doesn't take long before the cheese hardens and turns the whole thing into a big clump, making it rather difficult to eat.

I'm going the well-done route next time, but In And Out's fries are the only non-crispy ones I like anywhere. Speaks to the quality of the ingredients...the best!

It's not enough to order them well-done. You have to order them "EXTRA well done," then, before leaving the counter, ask your cashier to follow-up make sure they'll be extra well.

I know it sounds anal, but otherwise you just get their supposedly "well done" fries, which are still completely undercooked.
