Restaurant Help - Joint Dinner / Anniversary

My husband and I are looking for a place where we can celebrate our 2nd anniversary and his 36th birthday next Saturday night. We're in the process of buying an apartment, so funds are limited. I'd like to spend around $200 all-in, which I think will get us something really nice, but not amazingly fancy. We'd like to stay between 60th Street and 14th Street (east or west) and if you have ideas about a drink before hand, that would be great, too.

Thanks!!

Those are pretty broad parameters. What kind of cuisines/atmosphere are you looking for? Help us help you.

Cuisine-wise we're pretty open although we'd prefer not Asian. Italian, American, Latin and French are always winners for us. We'd like somewhere fun or festive but not too loud so we can actually talk. Romantic would also work although I'm having trouble thinking of places that would fit our budget. We love food, though, so the biggest request is that the food be delicious. Does that help? Thanks!

        Gotcha, thanks!
        Here's some ideas for dinner:
Nougatine (drinks beforehand at Lobby Lounge in the Mandarin Oriental or rooftop/lobby lounge at Empire Hotel)
        Naima
        Toloache
        44&X
Mia Dona (drinks at The Volstead)
        Almond (drinks at Flatiron Lounge)
