Does anyone know of any place that sells Hadley asparagus in or around Boston?

Thanks in advance!

Wilson Farms has their own asparagus--but it is not from Hadley. I think you need a road trip (definitely worth it).

I just emailed a farmer who brought it into the Copley market last year. I'll post a reply as soon as I have it. The market opens on the 17th.

I emailed Sara from Atlas Farm because I bought Hadley Asparagus from their stand last season. She replied "Yes, we plan to have asparagus and should have it on the first market, which is actually the 19th. Can't guarantee it, depends on the weather but it is likely."

So check at The Copley Square Market on the 19th.

I second that Yay - called three places on the north shore last week with no luck. I can wait til the 19th.

Articles from Saveur aside, MA asparagus is MA asparagus, tasty, yummy, local. You'd be hard pressed to blind-taste the diff between Hadley asparagus and other MA grown grass.

I watched the bit on NECN the other day about the Hadley asparagus and am inspired to try it as well. I got the sense that it sells and distributes locally - the annual yield is not large enough for wider distribution.
