Mexican Brunch, Willow Grove area?

Where can we go for a Mexica breakfast/brunch in the Willow Grove/Ambler area? I want chilaquiles, chorizo, maybe posole. I took a look at Tequila Joe's menu (Oreland), and it's just not makin' it.

Oh, and I want to do this for Mother's Day.

  1. Not Willow Grove area but if you are inclined to hop on the turnpike and go down to Plymouth Meeting there's a great new place called Plaza Azteca right off the turnpike.

    1. I'm not sure if they have brunch, but Tortilla's in Willow Grove has awesome Mexican food. I sort of remember seeing something on their special board about a Sunday brunch, but I'm not 100%. The address is 634 York Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090 and their phone number is : (215) 706-0777. You might want to give them a call and check. If not, definitely give them a try another time.

      1. PattiCakes, did you end up finding a Mexican brunch? That sounded like a great idea instead of the usual Mother's day breakfast or brunch. Unfortunately there's no way I could have convinced my Grandmothers to go along with that idea! Let us know how it was.

No, we actually went to a local diner. I would have loved Mexican, but there just wasn't anyplace close by. Mothers' Day is just a full-out nutso day to go out.

You are brave to go out to eat on that day Patti! I was lucky enough to stay home with a huge roast beef from Costco. Having fun playin with the leftovers now. My friend John went to Perkasie Pizza & Pasta and apparently his group hit the eye of the hurricane. That hasn't stopped him from stirring up a new storm here about this place he loves
