Anyone been to Lolita recently?

Planning on making our first trip there this weekend. Is it a worthwhile restauarant? Would appreciate any suggestions on dishes.

Also one of my favorites. The food is high quality, imaginative, and consistent. I usually get the enchiladas verdes with the portabello instead of shrimp. (A great choice if you're a mushroom fiend) and an order (or two) of guacamole. Their desserts are top-notch, too.

My one tip would be to go early -- the decibel level the later / busier it gets on the weekend can be pretty deafening.

Be sure to bring cash -- and a bottle of tequila. (The fresh margarita mixes are excellent, and it's BYOT.)

First time I went, we stopped by randomly and were unprepared on both counts (fortunately there's an atm down the block). Still worth going, but I was definitely whimpering at the delicious-looking pitchers that surrounded us at all the adjacent tables...

There's also a liquor store right around the corner too, at 1218 Chestnut. It's open until 9:00 every night but Sunday.
