Girlfriend Getaway Weekend - need help with our choices!

So, it's time for our annual Girlfriend Getaway Weekend. This will be our first time in New Orleans. We're super-foodies and will have a car. We don't want to spend all of our time eating, and we don't have huge appetites, but we are willing to go out of our way for amazing food, or wait a couple of hours for a table.

Below is what we've decided on so far. We'd love confirmation that we made great choices, or advice on making better ones.

Thanks so much!

Saturday Dinner: Dick and Jenny’s.
Sunday breakfast: Elizabeth’s.
Sunday lunch: Crabby Jack’s.
Sunday drinks: Napolean House.
Sunday dinner: Parkway for Po’ Boys
Monday breakfast: Croissant D’or.
Monday snack: Café Du Monde for café au lait and beignets
Monday lunch: Commander’s.
Monday dinner: Jacques-Imo’s
Tuesday breakfast: ??
Tuesday picnic lunch for plane: ?? Anyone know of a great place in the quarter where we could pick up something for the plane?

Pick up a muff. at Central for the plane. Try a Pimm's Cup at Napoleon House. r

I think dinner at Stella! or Gautreau's is a must.

elizabeth's is good, but be aware it is close to nothing, adn the wait time can be VERY VERY long

a good breakfast can be had at stanleys (is that the name?) just off jackson square

Thanks for your help so far!!

Wondering...do we actually need a car? Or could we walk everywhere and grab a couple of cabs where needed? We're big walkers and would love the exercise, but if all we would be doing is walking between restaurants, that wouldn't be optimal :)

Anything in the quarter is walkable, Dick & jenny's would be a cab, Crabby Jacks' cab, Parkway streetcar (Canal Street streetcar) and Jacques Imo's streetcar as well (St Charles streetcar)

My wife and I have been many times and have never rented a car. Never needed one.

Save the rent and hassle and put it towards cab fare when needed.

I'd like to get in a plug for Brigtsen's for dinner, if you're not 100% set on your evening meals. You will not be disappointed.

                +1 Brightsen's

Tuesday breakfast could be back to CDM and then to Central Grocery for a muffaletta for the plane.

Don't leave NOLA without trying one!

                Breakfast...

EAT on the corner of Dauphine and Dumaine or Petunia's or Elizabeth's

Love EAT ---- good choice for breakfast!

I'd stick in Blue Plate Cafe for your missing breakfast. Also, you might pick one of either Parkway or Crabby Jack's. Parkway is all poboys and Crabby's is mostly poboys. If you're not going to eat a poboy at crabby's, the food there is very similar to food at Jacques Imo's (they're owned by the same guy). Thus, I would say go eat poboys at Parkway find a replacement for crabby's and keep jacques imo's on the list. That is, unless you just want to compare poboys at different places, and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. You might not have a choice but to change. I'm pretty sure Crabby's is closed Sunday. Perhaps Mandina's might be a good Sunday lunch option.

My husband and I weren't big fans of Blue Plate. Maybe it was just an off day.
