On the corner of 12th and Webster (Webster facing) there's a NEW pizza place. It's replacing the failed bakery that was on the corner. Which replaced a sushi place. Long ago, it was once a Korean owned corner coffee shop with a decent omelette, burger, and fish and chips. You could also get kimchi and bulgogi too.

Why don't you take one for the team and try it out?

Oh yeah, Villa York, I've driven by that place a few times, looks sort of promising. The one report on Yelp says it was opened by the Mythic Pizza guy.

Picked up a medium chicken-mushroom today. It's a one man operation in a very small space. Two tiny tables inside and outside. If you're #4 in line, you're out on Webster St.
The good: $8.99/8 slices; generous toppings; thin schmear of tomato sauce (mom's choice) and cheese. He follows instructions and is most genial.
The not-so-good: the crust was doughy and perhaps underbaked. I'm used to the thin crust type, and I'm no pizza expert.
There was a line (mostly for slices) by 11:35AM. I think I'll give them another chance but will ask for a crispier crust and regular cheese.

Any grand opening specials of note?

I think the blackboard listed an extra-large w/2 toppings for under $10, but don't quote me. Didn't really pay attention since I was fixated on getting my order in correctly, then went outside to wait. Call to get specifics.
