Westside-ish atmospheric, tasty spots?
I'm looking for a good place for dinner in the Rancho Park, Mar Vista, Century City, Westwood, Culver City general area.
Requirements:
Not too expensive ($15 range for entree)
Good or fun atmosphere
Alcohol
Thanks for your help!

One other recommendation. Brunello's in Culver City. Friendly and casual vibe with good food and enough choices at the price point to make this a serious contender. Outside of downtown so street parking is usually no problem.

if you can be happy at a place that doesn't offer reservations, go to c&o trattoria at the mouth of the venice pier for huge portions of pasta and salads. they serve chianti by the glass.
the same folks run a slightly more upscale place farther west on the same street that they call c&o cucina. i believe that the cucina does take reservations, but they also have a few more costly entrees (i.e. seafood) in addtion to the pastas.
i apologize that my suggestions are west of your requested area.

Akasha in Culver City has a nice atmosphere, and there are some entrees for about $15, like butternut squash gnocchi or a turkey burger... but the best thing is twice that, the short ribs. Great drinks, albeit not bargain basement.
Natalee Thai has a bright atmosphere, on Venice near or in Culver City. Much less of an it spot than Akasha is or once was but I like their food and enjoy the place... good drinks and really rich panang curry.
